After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Studio Arts, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. The only thing I did know, was that I wanted to keep learning and gain new skills. Through years of working in retail and office environments as an assistant administrator, manager, and purchaser, I gained communication and organizational skills.

     To satisfy my desire to create, I continued illustrating as a hobby, even taking on commissions every once in a while. By listening and communicating with my clients, I was able to provide them with illustrations that they . It was a very rewarding experience for me, and that feeling is what drove me to look into a career in designing.

     I learned about UX/UI design through a friend, who thought the career would be a good fit for me. After doing some research on it, I realized how the goal of UX/UI design was to provide people with a good experience, something that I felt a passion for. I decided to go all in and dedicate my time to learning about UX/UI design, and gain the skills I needed in this field.

     Whether it was in the office or at my drawing desk, I always motivated myself with that goal in mind; to provide my client with a great experience. I hope to bring my creativity and drive to deliver with me to this new path.
